【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesgeneralguidelinesforthedetectionandidentificationofthespecifiesmicroorganismCandidaalbicansincosmeticproducts.MicroorganismsconsideredasspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardmightdifferfromcountryaccordingtonationalpracticesorregulations.Inordertoensureproductqualityandsafetyforconsumers,itisadvisabletoperformanappropriatemicrobiologicalriskanalysissoastodeterminethetypesofconsmeticproducttowhichthisInternationalStandardisapplicable.Productsconsideredtopresentalowmicrobiologicalriskincludethosewithlowwateractivity,hydro-alcoholicproducts,thosewithextremepHvalues,etc.ThemethoddescribedinthisInternationalStandardisbasedonthedetectionofCandidaalbicansinanonselectiveliquidmedium(enrichmentbroth),followedbyisolationonaselectiveagarmedium.Othermethodsmaybeappropriatedependentonthelevelofdetectionrequired.Becauseofthelargevarietyofcosmeticproductswithinthisfieldofapplication,thismethodmightnotbesuitedineverydetailtosomeproducts(e.g.certainwater-immiscibleproducts).OtherInternationalStandards(e.g.ISO18415)mightbeappropriate.Othermethods(e.g.automated)canbesubsitituedforthetestpresentedhereprovidedthattheirequivalencehasbeendemonstratedorthemethodhasbeenotherwisevalidated.
