【摘要】:Thistestmethodmeasuresthecohesivestrengthoftheadhesiveonapressuresensitivearticle.Thetimetofailurecanpredictendusepropertiesofpressuresensitivearticlessuchasedgeoozefromcoldflow;trimming,slittinganddiecuttingquality;telescopingintapes;abilitytosealpackages;andverticalholdingpower.Thistestmethodissuitableforqualitycontrol,developmentandapplicationstesting.Iftheadhesiveisnotalreadycoated,theadhesivecanbecoatedonsmooth,clearpolyester(PET)filmbacking0.05mm[0.002in.]thick.Therecommendeddryadhesivethicknessis0.025mm[0.001in.].Humidityhasastrongeffectontimetofailureformanypressuresensitivearticles.Therefore,humidityshouldbecontrolledinaccordancewith8.1.2.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheabilityofapressuresensitivearticle(forexample,tape,label,sticker,etc.)toremainadheredtoastainlesssteelpanelunderaconstantloadappliedparalleltothebondingsurfaceofthepressuresensitivearticle.1.2ValuesstatedineitherSIorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents,therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlywithoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
