【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthreetypesofintermediatecoating,typeA.typeBandtypeCwhichwhenincorporatedinapaintschemebetweenprimerandfinish,allowselectiveremovalofthefinishusingadefinedpaintremover.Thepaintscheme,includingtheintermediatecoating,isintendedforapplicationtometallicandnon-metallicsurfacesforaerospacepurposes,toprovideequivalentprotectionagainstcorrosionandmechanicaldamage,andresistancetoaircraftfluids,tothatprovidedbyapaintschemeconsistingofprimerandfinishalone.TypeAintermediatecoatingisintendedtofunctionwithafinishconformingtotypeAofthelatesteditionofBSX34,wheremaximumresistancetofluidattackisrequired.TypeBintermediate;coatingisintendedtofunctionwithafinishconformingtotypeBofthelatesteditionofBSX34,offeringincreasedtolerancetoHexingcomparedwithtypeAfinish.TypeCintermediatecoatingisintendedtofunctionwithafinishconformingtoBSX34andDEFSTAN00-72[1]fortheprotectionofmilitaryaircraftrequiringresistancetochemicalwarfareagentsanddecontaminants.AnnexAgivesinformationonapplicationfortypeapproval.
